Wow! I haven't posted in almost a month! Ready for the update of almost everything Cheryl-related?
Car: Truck is gone... brought it in to fix headlights, was told it was being condemned due to rusty frame (Google "toyota tacoma frame"... I'm sure you'll see). Was given a rental free for a few weeks. Found new Yaris to buy. No more truck, but tons better gas mileage (about 40 mpg).
Knitting: Ok probably the easiest thing to do here is update "the list" and add the things I've added.

Ballet T- OMG AWESOME! quick knit... great fit... LOVE IT!- Odessa - about half-way done... the beads sucked, but at least those are on now :)
Marathon: Well... the marathon was last weekend. We raised over $9500 as a family (thanks to all who donated!). It was a gorgeous day for a nice long walk. Unfortunately, the course was not conducive to walkers :( My brother decided to run it though and finished under the 6hr time limit! GO BRIAN! We were so proud of him. The three of us have decided to do the marathon again next year (minus all the fundraising). Now I'm on to training for my 5k in August (running!)
Weight Loss: heh... yeah... about that. My weight has gone neither up nor down since I've been training for the marathon... but I'm so much more fit! In much better shape, but no smaller. Darn it. I am starting to eat a hell of a lot better though and will be doing a lot of running over the next few months... so time will tell.
ok.. caught you all up... now back to your regularly scheduled programming :)

Well... I'm doing it again. I'm walking a marathon to raise money for the American Stroke Association. The picture is of me walking the Kona Marathon in 2002. This year, it's the Vermont City Marathon (Burlington, VT) and I'll be doing it with my sister and brother.
